Does anybody know a legit way to do this, because I've tried almost everyway to do it, but yet I still can't get it to work for AA3.

If it is a wireless controller, the ONLY way to get it to work with your system is by getting a wireless dongle. The charge and play cable you connect to the top and to a USB port will NOT work on PC. If it's a wired controller, simply plugging it in should auto-install the necessary driver. As for your game not detecting it, make sure the controller is on PRIOR to launching the game.

I actually just bought one, if its wired all you have to do is plug it in and download the drivers, if its wireless you will need a receiver dongle, usually like $15.
