So yea, how would a queue work?
For example:
In a mulitplayer game, when one user hits "Queue for match" or something, and then another user hits that button, how does the client return a match is found? .. Or rather, how does the masterserver tell person x/y, another player is also searching, would you like to be matched up with person y/x?
How would this be done?

I am guessing this is something similar to how a queue works on Battlefield 3?
The way it works on that game is that if a user joins a server that is full, they have to wait on a server browser until there is room. The user will be listed as 1 of 1 players waiting to join. If another player also decides to join that same server, that person will be listed as 2 of 2 and so on; the first person will then be 1 of 2 and will be prioritised for joining the server when there is room in the game.
Was that something similar to what you were thinking of?

Personally, I was thinking somewhere along the lines of Scrolls(New Mojang game). Like someone enters a quick-match Queue and it waits for another player to be searching.
I just wanna know how something like that would work.

If you are refering to the Queues for games. It means that you need to wait until the game isn't full anymore like if someone leaves.

I'm confused ... What do you mean by queue? Do you mean a game queue like on Battlefield 3 or not?
