hi on my rgh my ip is 169.254.x.x no matter wat i do it wont change

Your network settings maybe set to manual you should check them in the nxe dashboard settings and if so change to auto.

you try resetting your router if its not the network setting i would have to assume the router is the cause of the problem. Also Type in your routers ip address in your internet browser and see what the xbox ip is set to in there.
