What is your budget and currency - 500 Dollars
I don't own a thing. I was thinking on buying a low cost Asus from Best buy and building off of that but I have no clue how to build any of this so I was wondering if you guys could help me out.
I plan on using it for Gaming stuff like Garrys Mod,Runes cape, BF3, and Minecraft

You can get a very nice system that meets these requirements. I put $600 into my build and i'm able to play BF3 on High settings and get 45-50FPS. Just don't go with an expensive case like I originally intended on doing. Get a little, cheap case and then upgrade cases later. Good luck on your build.

Evac wrote I would do either pc or laptop which ever seems better from your recommendations and yes I will need a mouse monitor keyboardthe moniter is already $130 down the drain an a motherboard is like 260$ thats 390$ keyboard an mouse is like 30$ and the vid card is going to be $100-500 so if the vidcard lets say is $150 i just dont see the build happening with the keyboard and mouse and moniter. Maybe if the pc was $500 withought all thoose things then you will have a chance but the moniter and os is 130$ and $100 you wouldnt be able to do much. Save up to like $800 and repost this cuz im daying that the moniter and os byitself is going to be $230 and the vidcard is $150 or more. I just dont see a build that could run those games. The build wouldnonly be like a $200 - $300 build.

Do you know what you are talking about? I bought everything when i built i PC and spent $600, and that is just because i went with a cheaper case and saved $100 extra. A $500 build is perfectly capable of being accomplished.

Are you just naming components and saying random numbers? 260 for a motherboard? Are you serious?
OP, you will only be able to build the PC ALONE with a 500 dollar budget. Unless you want to get a cheap KB & mouse and run your computer through your TV until you could buy a monitor. Even doing that you wont get a good build. You'll still need the OS which isn't cheap. With a $500 you're maybe looking at an APU system.
