hey guys, when ever i try to hit f3 to check my couridintes ect, it just truns up my brightness and all of the F keys do things like turn the sound up, if anyone can help

It maybe the way your controls are configured click on Controls and look through and customize them.

I have this, you can use FN + F3, you can also change it in the control panel so you don't have to press FN.
