I want to start off by saying that I respect everyone and their beliefs.
When you look at the history of the Middle East its interesting to realize that they have been murdering each other for thousands of years. And they all read the same book...I cannot comprehend how the majority of the world believes in a personal god. What makes people think this expanding universe was put here for THEM? What makes people think their religion is better than the millions of hindus, or millions of jews, or millions of muslims? Sure religion brings people solitude but how do you justify such religious influenced acts such as the crusades, 9/11, spanish inquisition, the sexual assault of children by catholic clergy, hindu\muslim wars, the list goes on and. I respect all religions completely and utterly, but the inability to admit wrong doing is the inability to learn about this truly amazing world to which we ALL are at the mercy of. No matter what book you confide in.
