I have an American account and im from the UK, so could I get stuff cheaper because of the conversion on it from $ to ??

Well 1 dollar is only about .75 EUR

Good question, not actually sure you would need to add funds/money into your account and if you're using a UK credit/debit card then i doubt they will accept that as it's on the American account.
