That was one of the most epic looking cases ever. I want thoughts on whether I should attempt this.

I'd say hell to the no, unless you want to ebay some older parts on the cheap and try it. It'll be a nightmare if you needed to remove the parts and dry them off.

Why not just go for Phanteks cooler? Or a H100i.

I would not even consider oil cooling...

Thats what I was thinking. I was going to probably scavenge parts from a friends old pc and try it.

It would be fun if you had some old parts but I wouldn't put high-end parts under mineral oil. Even if you need something purpose-built for an extremely dusty, sandy, smoky, etc. environment, you still would need an external radiator and fans.

Ya me and my cousin are thinking of doing something like this with my aunts old 2005 Dell. We will just gut it out of the case properly. The radiator is what we need to find next.
