So what exactly is an Ouija Board?

An Ouija board is just a piece of paper or board with letters on it. It is not some kind of mystical portal to the underworld.

I have seen many videos on the Ouija Board and there is a lot of speculation on if it is real or not. I'll give you two theories, one which defends that it is real and one that doesn't.

Real:

When you are using the Ouija board you are simply unlocking an ability that you already had to communicate with spirits. The Board or any other method which lets you communicate with spirits lets you concentrate your ability and lets you achieve it. It pretty much just makes your ability easier to use. What also makes it easier to communicate with a spirit is how you don't have to see them or feel them, the board is used just to verbally communicate in a sense. Personally I don't believe this works.

Fake:

To counter the above theory is it is just the Placebo effect. You are moving the piece without your knowledge to what you want to see. You are causing the experience to happen because you "believe" it is real but it is simply not. You are moving the piece with your hands, you are choosing what it says, wither it be with your conscience mind or your unconscious. I believe this more because it is more logical.

I've used the board a few times and felt a bit unpleasant afterwards but I believe it was my mind making me believe what I wanted to see. I've never believed in spirits, demons or anything for that matter.
