You can't blame the game this time, you can only blame the parent who let them play the game. They're 8 for Christs sake, theirs a reason why it has age limits and restrictions.

The kid shouldn't even be playing those games at the age of 8!!
Never mind access to a firearm, i think the parents should have more control over there child so a innocent kind old lady didnt loose her life

What is wrong with people these days. It's a game you don't do what you do in the video game.

kids shouldn't have access to a rated M game. also they should definitely not have access to the family gun. They can't blame GTA for this. It's the stupid parents that allow him to have access to the game and the gun.

Welcome to 'The Crazy World'
I think he reacted too much, not too little.

What is the GTA IV Servers going to say about this?

Quite frankly, I'm so sick of the media pinpointing the blame on the game. (hehe that rhymed) This kid is 8 years old, when clearly its a "Rated M for Mature" game in the first place. Oh, and why does the kid have access to a loaded gun?

I think I can describe it like this.
Would you buy an 8 year old kid porn? No.
Would you buy an 8 year old kid a ridiculous scary with blood and gore no.

So really it's not the games fault, it simply boils down to bad parenting.
