You're trying too hard. Scrutinize - examine or inspect closely and thoroughly. You're using scrutinize as if it's a negative thing. I wasn't inspecting or examining anything thoroughly, it's not hard to not get banned from Xbox Live. I wasn't trying to be mean I was just keeping it 100 like my name.

It didn't come off friendly at all and that's why the other guy thanked him for it. Scrutinize can also be used more than the frank definition and he talks that way all the time, he's not trying to come off as too smart some people actually talk that way.

Hold on one second, all I said to you at first is if you are going to talk down to people for stating the reason why they are switch consoles then you can go to the xbox section because that's what this post was about and the key word was IF. After that, you came at me telling me I'm trying to hard to sound smart and mature, so you're the one who got this mess going. I'm just tired of all the Xbots who constantly troll the PS4 section.

I am switching from the Xbox 360 to PS4. Here are my reasons.

1. $100 cheaper
2. More powerful
3. Gamer focused

How is it $100 cheaper? look at what comes with the xbox: The console, controller, headset, plug and play, kinect. with the ps3, console, controller, earbud.... The ps move thing for ps4 costs about 120 so yeah you get more for your money with xbox. neither consoles are better, they are both fantastic consoles, it all comes down to the personal preferences....

It is $100 cheaper because they don't force you do buy the PS camera and from the sounds of it quite a few games (including myself) have no intention on buying it and can use that $100 on something that you're not forced to buy.

I'm not talking down on anyone. I just hate Sony fanboys who make real Sony fans such as myself look bad. It's $100 cheaper? Yep, but you get more with the Xbox One. Sony didn't change their policies? Wrong, they changed the drm before E3. You're going with the PS4 because it's more powerful? Well why didn't you buy a PS3 instead of a 360, it was more powerful. I'm not asking you or saying you said those things, I'm just saying things I constantly hear on here. Ever since all the policy changes on the X1, both consoles are pretty equal. It just comes down to what games you like more, what your friends/family are buying, and how big of a deal $100 is.

If someone says "I'm buying a PS4 because it's 60% faster than the Xbox One." Am I suppose to say, yay welcome to Sony!!!!!? Nope, I'm going to say that is false and not to spread lies. I don't care what you're tired of, stop assuming everyone is a Xbot.

I had my doubts about switching because of the whole hacking scandal etc, i've had an xbox for about 5 years now and its a little boring, i had the PS1,2 and PSP before the xbox, so now i think its time for a change. Im about to swap my xbox for a PS3 aswell for the time being!

I will be making the switch.

Went with a Xbox in 2006 mainly due to the price difference... have been through 2 RROD consoles.. 2 account bans resulting in over $1000 worth of dlc lost.

I picked up a ps3 to use in my spare time in May 2011, COD Black Ops 160 GB Bundle..shortly after the whole psn going down thing.

Didn't like it much at first but slowly got more into it...have a account with maxed out prestige's in CoD, 13 platinum trophies now.

Joined plus in March 2013 have no regrets at all about it...a much better value than what Xbox gives you.

I still own both consoles now but the last 2 years have mainly been PS3..I don't know after 5 years on Xbox it just has got boring to me in my honest opinion.

Make me feel very confident in doing so...a 120,000 gap in pre orders on BF4 on PS4 compared to the Xbox one...and that is in America the home of the Xbox...it also leads in CoD Ghosts which is very surprising to me.

Sure I did enjoy the early dlc and all of that stuff on the Xbox back when I was 16, I am 21 now and don't really care for all that as much as I used too.. I'm really looking forward to this gen things are looking good for the PlayStation 4, I do however plan on having both consoles by the summer of 2014.

I'll never be switching i love xbox but i also love Playstation for Playstation home

I play both the 360 and PS3, and I'm having a pretty hard time choosing between them, I will probably wait like a month or two before making my choice. Or till Christmas.. makes sense.

The 360 blew the PS3 away.. better exclusives, Gamerscore, Party Chat, waaay better Dashboard.. just a better system overall. The PS3 was so bland and boring. I find it hard to believe that Xbox One could have dropped the ball as hard as they did.. I would hate to buy the PS4, and then have it be the last generation all over again :/

Well when most people who come on here saying about 90% of what you said are xbots and it's been that way well b4 you joined this site, it's a pretty safe assumption to make. I also never asked if you cared about anything I said so, there is no need to waste your time with it. Lettuce leave it at that because I don't feel like wasting any more time on it...
