to be honest its not a game that appeals to older gamers now, and younger ones are following the older ones who have now moved to console, this is resulting in mmo's being left out. personally 07 to 2010 was the best only due to the fact there were lots of players on

nobody simply enjoys runescape anymore its either a grind to a 99 or wasting Real money on buying gold and losing it to some nubs who call themselves "legit Lurers." Jagex didn't help by throwing garbage on the playing field trying to suppresse the little whiney kids and the overall mood of runescape has just been eaten, chewed and spit up in the faces of the newcomers and senior players.
