I'm getting it on Xbox but also wondering if it will be released on the next gen consoles on their release dates?

i heard about it. they said, they will think of a PS4 and XboxOne copy.

As of right now no. They have only committed to making the game for the current generation consoles but some say that rockstar has hinted a chance of the game making its way onto the next gen I(which im hoping or) so hopefully they do in the near future!!

It would be silly not too in my eyes, Sony have hinted as well it wouldn't surprise me
