Is there anything similar for less?
Also, hosting a community party next year in my back garden. I've got a shed in the corner which I'm going to kit out with a bar and DJ room. I'm unsure of what to buy. Budget of around 1K GBP. I preferably want 2 2/3 way speakers and a sub. I was looking at this as a setup (controlled from a laptop using DJ software of some sort).

It's only for a party, not a club. Outdoors and bassy music will be played.
You are in luck, I happened to have heard/used almost all of those things. The mixer is fine, will allow input form iPods from other people if you acquire a 3.5mm stereo to 6.3mm dual mono cable. Can't say I like the effects though but those can be turned off anyway.
The speakers are fine for a backyard, it can fill spaces bigger than that easily, same thing with the sub. What are you using for the DJ deck?
Remember to also buy stands and cables.
Not sure. What do you recommend? Nothing too expensive. Around the 100 GBP mark. It needs to be usb to connect to a mac.
Also. Soundsticks 3 (non wireless). What are they like. I've got some old HK computer speakers (ones that came with the dells) which are good but not enough clarity. I want to get something that sounds clear and bassy, but not too bassy. What are they like? It's either them or save up for some studio monitors.
The Numark Mixtrack Pro is popular, and I know for a fact that it works well on a Mac (Played with it a couple of times). With computer speakers I tend to avoid anything consumer, so studio monitors are my recommendation. The Yamaha HS50M is rather nice IMO. Some recommend the Dayton B652 (is that the right model number?) with a Lepai amp for those on a budget but I haven't heard those.

How is the bass on them. I'd like to be able to choose how much there is - a reason why I love the Custom One Pros.
Reason why I ask is because I'm about to start music technology which includes producing music. Already got a keyboard (not mine but grandfather has said I can use it whenever) which is the MoX8 by yamaha.
Need studio monitors and some monitor headphones (not too pricey either - was looking at the ATH 50 - I know they're overrated but they do the job).
In the UK so if you can find anything that'd be great!
Thanks for the help.

Studio monitors are things that should be neutral. The Yamahas are neutralish, but of course that'll depend on your room too. There are several others that are liked by the communities so ask around and don't let my singular opinion dictate your buying choices.
Mastering of any kind should really be done on a pair of monitors instead of headphones, but for general monitoring a pair of headphones can come in handy, especially in noisy environments. For that you can look at a Shure SRH440 and a Sony 7506. They have a bass roll off similar to speakers, which I believe should be beneficial to your monitoring and you won't end up hearing extra low bass on headphones and no bass on the monitors.
Unfortunately I am unfamiliar with UK markets, but amazon should have the headphones while your local DJ and musician stores tend to have monitor speakers available.

Brilliant - thanks!
I know monitors should be neutral, however I want the option to have a little extra bass. I've heard the KRK Rokits (I think they're called) are a little on the bassy side, however they're really quite pricey! I can't really afford anything over 130 ish per speaker (GBP of course).
Thanks for all the help though 098))
One other thing as well - been trying to return a pair of custom one pros (left ear rattles and sometimes doesn't work when you plug it in) but Beyerdynamic haven't got back to me yet. Rang them and emailed them. Nothing. Any ideas?

Budget: Only around 50 ($90-ish)
Music preferences: Mainly punk rock. Bands like the Offspring, Green day and Nirvana.
Type/form-factor: On-ear preferably
Open or closed: Either.
Listening from: Mainly my phone but would use from my guitar amp on occasion. (My parents bitch about how loud I play) But I want them more for listening music.
Details:
Do you want them to be portable? Fairly portable, I'm going on holiday in a couple of months and plan to take them for the 13 hour flight. So it would be nice to easily be able to take them out of my bag while I'm in the airport ect.
Do they need to isolate well? Not worried.
Is durability a big priority? I'm quite careful with my possessions so it shouldn't matter too much.
Are these for gaming? No, just music.
Have you had significant experience with certain headphones in the past? Just skullcandy's (Which of course, were crap!)
Do you have any other relevant questions? I just have one request for the headphones (Sorry if I'm making this hard for you!) I don't want them to stick out too much if that's possible. I really appreciate what you're doing here, thank you!

I'd go with the AKG K518. You'll want a closed design for noisy environments like planes.

The Xeport 3010 should be better suited to that kind of music than the 5010, so that's my suggestion.
