So i while back a bought an elgato and it works great but the only problem is that my new computer i got has usb 3.0 ports and the elgato is for usb 2.0 ports. whenever i connect the device to my computer it still says no device connected. ive come to the conclusion that obviously its because its not compatible with usb 3.0. ive been using it on my old mac which is alot slower and i dont like using it. if you know any solutions to fix this problem please tell me. thanks.

3.0 is the connection speed for the port so its not that with my elgato i had the installation disc that installed the drivers for the capture devise
