Yes the iPhone 5C or what ever it will be called will be indeed plastic, Its going to be a Low cost iPhone.

Apparently the iPhone 5c will be available in multiple different colors as well according to iPoduplink. He claims to have prototype models that he has gotten though connections. Although this is not confirmed.
