I have been playing lately a lot of Need for Speed: Most Wanted (2005 version).

Why? Because of nostalgia. I remember when I first played it like 8 years ago with my original Xbox, and those times were one of my best gaming related memories.

Also, I think that after NFS:MW they never really got it right again. That underground racing was the coolest thing about the game and really gave it its charm.

Anyways, tell me your favorite racing game and why that in particular.

I can completely agree with you saying that NFS MW was the best NFS to date, I was extremely disappointed with the 2012 follow up. The whole point of MW was to start from the bottom, madly customize all those classic tuners whilst gradually climbing the list to be the most wanted. But with this new one, they just let you drive around and get in $500,000 super cars from the moment you drive over the bridge into the damned city, ruined the whole point of the game!

But the best racing game I ever played was Forza Horizon last year, that was a right cracker!
