Eminem is one of the most lyrically talented people on this planet. He is not even mainstream either. Sure he sang about drugs and things in his Slim Shady days, But have you not heard his newest songs? Songs from his Recovery album? (Not Bad Meets Evil because that was horrible). Listen to his lyrics before you ramble on.

Now, on the topic of Tupac. I have never really listened to him. So I am not really biased towards him. I was thinking about this subject in the shower this morning and thought this... Rappers are meant to use words that don't necessarily mean what they say. So if Tupac said something in his words to the tune of, "I'm still alive", or something of that nature, what if he meant something else. Think about it. We are keeping him alive by just talking about whether if he is alive or not. Maybe he wanted people to always remember him so he said those subliminal messages to keep us talking. Or, he could be saying exactly what he means. Maybe he is still alive. However, in my opinion, I think the first option is better.
