-iGraphic- wroter00t wroteI have pictures on the main post just click'em and its pics of the wire.-iGraphic- wrote but do i do each at a time? or all at 1 time? Its copper wires
There should be separate wires inside of the cable that you have to re-connect. If they're not color-coded, you'll have a hard time figuring out which is which.
I have seen the pictures and can't discern any individual wires. It looks like a mess of copper strands because you haven't cut the frayed ends of the cable back yet.

You'd be doing that process a number of times. Once for each wire within the cable. If you went ahead and soldered the whole thing together as one, it obviously wouldn't work.

Yes, completely. The wire he's using has only one connection. Yours likely has five. Left headphone, right headphone, headphone ground, mic, and mic ground.

It's a USB cable. You can't just solder the whole thing together. Here's a good-enough guide.

You have to solder the four internal wires. I assumed that the cable would be for normal headphones and a mic, but this should be the same process.
