So I was recently banned for 2 weeks. After my 2 weeks were up I had decided to call Xbox and see the reasoning of why I was banned. I had recently had troubles with some DLC that i had downloaded so i had gotten refunded the points. but when i chatted with Xbox they had said i had been banned due to abusing Xbox Sponsoring Ads. I had asked which ad and she said that was confidential information. So i called back the next day, but this guy accutally told me why i was banned. he said "you were banned for abusing the Scotia Bank ad which clearly stated 1 code per account. It was against the ads COC and the Xbox COC. So what i was thinking was, when they had went to my recent purchases they had seen the multiple 100 Microsoft points redemption's. So if anyone has asked, yes you can and will get banned if they decide to look at your recent purchases. Just a warning

Couldn't you just say you bought the codes of some guy on Ebay? You can't get banned for redeeming codes.

Well, I thought that at first. But im sure somewhere on record they have the codes that scotia bank purchased and could check the codes that you had redeemed and see if they matched.

I did on my main account, and i tried to download the new dlc camos when they came out, when microsoft points was still on the xbox live servers,and i did have money in my mum's bank but it didn't let me buy any, so is this the reason why then?, but i did get banned for 2weeks, after i did it?

Mate when the Aqua and the other camos came out hardly any could get them.
