My RGH seem to stop booting after pasting a modded file of mine in my game directory. It also has been freezing everytime I started a match on the game. It won't boot into Xell or normal Dash. What happened?

Things I've tried:
- Turn console on without HDD ( unsuccessful )
- Unplug cables then re-plug ( unsuccessful )

Freeze History
- Spawned in Game in system link (x5)
- * After it kept on freezing every time i spawned I assumed the patch_mp.ff file I was using was bad in some way
- Pasted back-up patch_mp.ff in game directory
- Loaded game's default_mp.xex
- Froze immediately when I started the match
- Restarted console off/on
- Did not boot into Dash ( Black Screen )
- Tried to boot into Xell ( Nothing / Black screen )

What could've happened? I think it may be the game but I wouldn't see how it would brick the console like it did. What should I do? I have the OG NAND. Should I write the back up NAND to the broken NAND or what? Or could it be just some bad blocks?

Please help & I'll Rep to helpful answers. Also, feel free to ask for additional information.

Thank you,
Apollo

Okay and when you say reflash, do you mean to write a working NAND over the bad one?

If its freezing mid game, your graphics chip has apparently died.

You can double check by writing the Stock Nand back to the console and flip the Coolrunnre switch to PRG, and test boot to see if it still works.

It's only that game though. If the graphics chip was dead, wouldn't it not load FSD3 and other applications as those rely on the GPU aswell don't they?

not really no, fsd isnt graphic intense so doesent heat your gpu up as much as a game, so in theory youve over heated your gpu chip to kill it

OP, This doesnt Jell with what you just mentioned?

Freeze History
- Spawned in Game in system link (x5)

- Pasted back-up patch_mp.ff in game directory

- Froze immediately when I started the match
- Restarted console off/on
- Did not boot into Dash ( Black Screen )
- Tried to boot into Xell ( Nothing / Black screen )

So now the console boots fine but only freezes when you play a certain game?

Yes, it seems that way because I've experienced no problems when in FSD or normal dash.

Still no boot at all. No dash, nothing.
