For the past few days my internet connection drops tremendously whenever I play a multiplayer game. When I play CSS or CSGO my ping skyrockets right when I join the game. (200-999 ) If I am in a skype call while playing a game I can barely hear anyone. The only weird thing is my download speeds are a steady 2 mbps, youtube videos play fine in 1080p, and skype is completely fine when I am not in a game. Minecraft seems to work fine when connected to my friend's server.

Anyone know what the issue could be??

If your download is 2Mbps, then that's probably your problem right there, since that's .25MBPS.

Open up all the ports for the games that you play on pc. This will lower your ping and fix your most likely closed NAT.
