September 27th - Closed premium beta
October 4th - Open Beta

Beta can be either obtained by a code via email associated with XBOX LIVE or PSN account. (most likely)

Or you can just download closed beta straight off BF3 (Premium) or Dashboard (October 4th)

Closed members will mostly be getting code by email and game.

Open beta will be on the XBOX 360 dashboard.
