A world war would sort of imply the whole world is involved.

C'mon people lets stop fighting over petty little things and focus on things that are actually meaningful, like the Fukushima Nuclear power plant. I'm sure if we put money into making sure people in Japan are safe instead of wasting it on who can be the bigger bully then it would have already been under somewhat more control by now, rather than being in a state of emergency.

Seriously?
1400 People killed in a gas attack, along with 1000's others in a civil war is a 'little thing'?

Sadly people die, that's how life works. Move on.

Wow.
Well then I guess it won't matter if the Power plant doesn't get secured then?
People will die. That's how life works. Move on.

Way to counter your own argument.

Compared to the many more people that could die as a result of the power plant completely melting down and leaking all of its contents into the ocean - I would say yes. Many countries rely on water from the ocean for drinking water and water used in homes.

I was originally referring to the reason as to why the war started.

By the same logic, hospitals shouldn't exist and healthcare doesn't matter; sadly people die, that's how life works.

If nobody does anything, then that pretty much gives Syria permission to do it whenever they feel like it. That's right. Killing 1000's of people every week/day/month whenever they want. Then next thing you know other countries start doing it. THEY KILLED CHILDREN FOR CHRIST'S SAKE.

Why is the United States the world police? When did they ever achieve that title? Why is it our responsibility to say, "you can't do that", and send over our men and women to die for something we shouldn't be involved in?

Indeed they are.
Let's not forget how America sold chemical weapons to Saddam Hussein in the Iran-Iraq war. Let's also not forget how the CIA armed the Jihadist groups in the Soviet war on Afghanistan.

Haha. Love conspiracy theories. We did none of these things. Nice try though.

He's right, there's no conspiracy regarding these things. You're simply ignorant of the situation.

Vape wrote I'm actually quite embarrassed to be British now, I can't wait until the votes for Scotland to become independent. I don't like being British.

If it was the entire british population who collectively said, "here you go, Syria, enjoy these chemicals that kill people", then you would have a reason to be embarrassed. The US government does moronic shit on the daily, but I'm not embarrassed to be a part of the states at all.
