i dont think the dark really goes with the glow on the Colors try something a little more Light maybe a Light grey.

This look like it has potential to be descent. In my opinion, the closeness of the black tints in regards to the text and background are too similar. The dominance of that black really lingers my eyes to pay more attention to the background opposed to the text and modeling. I'd say experiment with the tints, and maybe inverse them.
