This will never be forgotten and is still in my mind to these days. I'm Irish but my auntie and uncle are Canadian and they were in New York that day, lucky they were ok but in my heart I feel hugely sorry for those who lost their lives and their loved ones.
This day will never be forgotten.

I still remember the day this happened. My dad works as a civilian for the army and was suppose to be at the Pentagon on 9/11. This was when I lived in Maryland in a city about 2 hours outside of Washington D.C. Fortunately, his meeting was cancelled that morning.
I was in New York the night Obama announced Bin Laden had been killed. I was there for a school trip. I saw the Reflecting Pool and standing on Ground Zero was a unexplainable feeling.
My thoughts and prayers go out to all the families and friends that lost a loved one
RIP to all of the victims of 9/11

Such a tragic event. I have the utmost respect for the heroes who sacrificed their lives to save others. May they rest in peace.

So sad to look back on that day. I remember it like it was yesterday. God Bless those affected.
