My Roxio HD hasn't been working lately (all of the picture is really distorted) and looked up a solution and I found that it could be that my computer is too slow, even though it worked fine for like the first 5 months. Can my computer have became slower even though I have not downloaded any extra software?

So take whatever files are important, back them up, and then factory reset the computer?

Yes...it has become slower...if you can buy an external hard drive and back up your things then do a system restore
if you cant do that then buy some more ram for your pc...look up a YT video on how to install it
