Does it really? one more thing, have you ever tried to make music on it with garageband? is that a good program?
Garageband is a good entry-intermediate level program for audio editing, but, from what I've heard, your probably going to want to upgrade to another program if you ever want to take it to a professional level rather than a hobby.
Thank you, so i should start with garageband before i go into other programs such a Logic
Yep, thats the idea. Im not to sure how good logic is though. Searching around though, I did find this one software that looks really promising. Heres the link. [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] . It has great reviews on multiple audio and music sites. Check it out.

I've messed around with Garageband and Logic Pro X and they both work flawlessly. I don't make music but one of the best apps to use is Logic Pro.
How much is logic pro? and whats the difference between it and Garageband?
Logic Pro X is $199.99 on the Mac app store. A little pricey but really it's for professionals. I'm not sure what the differences are because I don't use either software. All I can say is, start with Garageband and if you really get into it check out Logic Pro. A quick google search can tell you about both programs.

My school has Imac, and they are trash. Period. They can't even run LOL without crashing a couple of times. It has the nVidia 640M i think and i tried playing some SIMPLE games like minecraft, it was a nightmare... Get a PC and a good anti virus = so much better than Macs and half the price. Afterwards, just upgrade the parts to the newer tech. (super easy to do) so you won't have to worry about getting up to date. But with Macs, unless you know your stuff then good luck upgrading that or else you have to spend another grand.

Look. When it gets down to it, it's like this your on a gaming site. If you were to go on a site thats all about mac and mac enthusiasts, then Im sure you'd get people who recommended getting the iMac. Since your here, 99% of people will say Xbox One.
Your going to have to prioritize. Depending on how old you are, how hard you work, other activities, and your schedule, you'll have different amounts of time available to play your shiny Xbox One. But if your going to studying, working, and want a workstation, the iMac is the way to go (or any computer for that matter).
Out of personal experience, I got bored of my Xbox around 2 years of getting it. I still turn the dust-coated thing on every so often, but yeah... Anyway, if you decide to go with a computer in general, the stock cheap models usually mess up pretty quickly. You might want to make your own rig, or put some time into researching for a durable, versatile computer.
Hope I helped.(Yes, I own an iMac. It's not great for gaming, but I mean, I like it. The operating system is more appealing to me personally. But its what you want out of your purchase)

If you are getting it 'for school' then you should be going for a laptop. Also, keep in mind that when you ask this question on a gaming forums, you'll be receiving a load of biased opinions on what you should get. It all comes down to what you see yourself doing more. Seems more of a personal choice than a question to put out to others.
