try resetting your network connection, restoring your iphone to ios 6, disconnectioning other usb devices, and be sure you have the latest itunes

EVERYONE! If you are having a problem with the download ( either it freezes, or says it will take a ridiculous amount of time), first make sure you are downloading from Mega, and not that other one. Once there, instead of download, hit the button that says import. You will see the file, right click it and select download. It is faster this way, and i had no problems with it freezing that way. Lemme know if this helped anyone.

Can you explain this to me and give me a workaround? I am on beta 6 currently. I tried updating to GM to receive error 6 and my iPhone 4s stuck in restore mode. I had done a backup prior to doing the update to GM. I proceeded to do the update but via a restore rather than a update. After the restore was done I do all the first time login crap and such but receive an error on my PC saying that I must have iTunes 11.1 to get my data back from a backup. Therefore, make GM useless to me because I can't have any of my data on the device until 11.1 is released publicly. What can I do to avoid error 6 pretty much soft bricking my device or somehow bypass the 11.1 crap so I can do a restore?
