I got a new boot SSD and i have always had my Origin games downloaded to a separate HDD. I know with Steam you can just link you library up (and have done so already) but it doesn't seem possible on Origin.

I can try loading the games outside Origin but it opens the program and just says it isn't installed properly. I asked EA support and their solution was to "Install the games again, I guess" but my internet is damn horrible and i'd rather avoid that.

Anyone know a way of sorting it out?

If EA say that's the only way then it's probably the only way, I guess.

I can see EA being a bit more stringent (def: annoying) about this kind of stuff.

all you have to do is unistall orgin and reinstall it on your drive with the games on it hope this helped

I encountered this problem a while back and I think the only way was to move the game files to your destined destination and then reinstall origin but select that drive and it should work. Failing that you'll have to do as EA say.
