A fearless adventurer has taken to the skies in a bid to become the first man to successfully cross the Atlantic Ocean attached to a cluster of balloons.

Adventurer Jonathan Trappe took to the air from Caribou, Maine today in an attempt to be the first man to successfully cross the Atlantic using a cluster of helium balloons.
