Hi I was thinking about starting modding I used to do a lot of it on Xbox with jtags, I'm only doing it to have some fun and host lobby's on call of duty, if I started hosting would my psn account or my play station get banned from going online?

I'm quiet new to ps3 so I don't really know

Thanks

well it would really depend on which game, but you should not have to worry about anything. just dont piss anyone off and you should be fine

If you data transfer and mod CODs BO1 the chance of ban is almost next to nothing. If you go online with your Custom Firmware PS3 on MW3 your console will last about 2 weeks then get banned. If you go on Black Ops 2 with your custom firmware you will instantly get banned.
