Unless you're a big fan of the Seahawks or Lynch I wouldn't buy him off the market.

Just keep using Sproles and grinding out games. It feels like for the most part it's best to get a running back with speed and Sproles has a little bit of that.
He's not the best but if you want to upgrade then think about getting a Chris Johnson or a Jamaal Charles.

I know spending money isn't fun but you can buy a Gold starter upgrade pack for 80 MSP which is like 80 cents and that gives you 10 gold players (Rating 80-89) and that helps a lot and if you have money than additional pro packs with that being said i dont recommend lynch save your money also play the solo challenges with your UT that will give you coaches rating 80 - 85 and 500 coins and there easy almost impossible to lose than sell those coaches that will rack your coins up once you get enough buy a good MLB that will help a lot than buy a RB (If you think you can run the ball) if not than you want to go with a WR and a QB but dont get to greedy in the start so stay in the 80 overall range when you hit your team rating at 79 than start trying to get 90+ overall players and you will want lineman i know that sounds dumb but seriously i have my O line and D line all in the 90 overall range and my god nothing gets through and my d line sacks the Q or RB every time and you will want to do the training camp challenges if you get gold on that they give you a decent RB, QB, and LB so i hope this helps if you have any questions message me on xbox my gt is ( The Final Goal )

Rating is irrelevant in madden for a HB.
Just have a very pacy running back like mcfadden or chris johnson.
Use a lot of outside run plays, follow your linemen, and you'll gain at least 10 yards a play.

80 MSP is $1 USD, and yes the gold starter really helps

McFadden is around 2k 95 speed 84 trk
Murray is 92 speed 87 trk
Johnson is 97 speed 87 elusiveness

Far more value than lynch who is 25k ish
