Gta v has some new stupid policy that will restrict disc one from being installed more than once on the same console.
So guys this is a warning what ever you do NEVER delete the disc 1 installation off your hard-drive or you will be going through the same issues i am where the discs are pretty much useless to my current console.
NOTE:this is with a legit copy!
Edit:I have tweeted rockstar support, RockstarGames addressing the problem i have strangely no responce hmm maybe they hiding something [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

That seems really dumb and fake seeing as you need the Play Disc in order to even play it...

You are a **** idiot. I deleted my Disk 1 and reinstalled it with NO issues. Think you just **** up. Did you delete Part 0-3 from your HDD first?

JoGrizzly wrote That seems really dumb and fake seeing as you need the Play Disc in order to even play it...Disc one is required to even play the game, I don't think you understand what I'm talking about... Once disc one has been successfully installed some how either the console or disc remembers that this game was once installed on this specific console and it just comes up as disc unreadable forever that's why i am saying don't delete the disc one installation files.
