My retail is banned can i return it?

Most likely yes. If it is still under warranty. I took 4 console banned consoles back and said the DVD drive wouldn't eject on all of them. (I took them in 1 by 1)

Do they check? i was thinking to over heat it and go and say it got red ring of death would that work?

I did with Gamestop. All they do is check to see if it powers on or not.

no all they did with me was connect it to a wall and leave it on for 5 minutes to see if it still worked. after that they'll give you your money.

I returned mine back to best-buy. They just checked if it had everything that came with it. Then they gave me my money back.

so thats why all their refurbished shit never works lol jk. Well every time someone in my family buys something from there, their product always comes defective. But when i do, my product always lasts forever.

No place plugs it in and checks to see if it goes online.. They just make sure it turns on. So yea you'll be ok.. Dont over heat it, just simply take it back.

Don't worry, Just take it in to any gamestop etc... They dont connect it to the internet.
