Hmm, im afraid to say it but this may be an issue where youre going to have to open up the jtag.

Try one last thing, unplug everything out of the jtag and wait for about 30 seconds. Then plug everything back in and press the eject button to turn it on and tell me if it boots into xell/xellous or whatever you have.

There may be a bad connection going on somewhere inside of it. I wouldnt recommend you open it up yourself without first viewing a tutorial or simply ask a professional to do it for you for a small fee.
