I'm trying to figure which one to get because I'm a dirt**** cheap Asian boy and I have no idea about any of these actually and happen to be too lazy to go Walmart or Best Buy to try it out. So what are your opinions on these? I just need one to type up some notes and watch an occasional movie or video on Youtube on 360p.

Chromebooks are fantastic and netbooks are a thing of the past because of them. It sounds like one will do everything you need.

After some "research (Google)", I've found out Microsoft word does not work on it. Is there a offline alternative? Also what can it function as offline anyways?
