A Gigabyte 7970 would be a better option as it has the Windforce cooler which is significantly better than the reference one.

Sound card isn't really needed.

Full tower is definitely not needed unless you want to run two systems in one case or do a custom loop water cooling system.

750w is overkill but it will be fine.

A bigger case might have better airflow in some builds. But honestly you'll get good enough airflow in a mid tower.

A 550 or 600w PSU would be absolutely fine, just make sure it's good quality. For example: SeaSonic or XFX.

I didn't say anything about a 1GB GPU.

Oh ok I'm just an idiot, I din't realize gigabyte was a brand. My bad. I'll prob keep the tower just cause I like it. As far as not having to upgrade in the future, would it be a good idea to keep the 16 GB of RAM?

8GB would be enough. Games are just starting to recommend 8GB (BF4) so you'll be fine. 16GB is not needed unless you're rendering.

Seriously the full tower is huge. Take a mid tower and double it, that's what you'll end up with. It's really unnecessary for your build. You would pay less for a mid tower also.

You should be able to max every game with 60FPS. The 4670k is the best gaming CPU and the 7970 is a great card.

It's really worth grabbing a tape measure and showing yourself how big a full tower would be in person before buying. I class my mid-tower as being big and its one of the smaller midtowers.
