Hey TTG community. I recently came across my friends old white Xbox that he thought had Red ring. Turned it on and it works perfectly fine, except the disk tray doesn't open.

Anyways, I'd like to Jtag it. It's on dashboard 2.0.16197.0 . I don't know if that affects it or not?

I'd just like someone to tell me if I can, and maybe send a video of what I'd need to do.

If it changes anything, I'm not looking for this to be online or anything. I just want one for personal modding/having fun and learning new things. Thanks!

I am pretty sure you can jtag any dash now.

I believe you can r-jtag it on that dash? Im not positive though. might want to ask 5KMods or RodentModz if possible without bricking the console.

RGH2 or R-Jtag are your only options for that console on that dash.

i would not do a self-hotswap. if you aren't careful you can **** it up. you can pay people to hotswap it for you.

I can't hotswap anyways. My disk drive is broke.

Besides, this is really a mess around Xbox. Found it in my friends Garage and he gave it to me. I already have one that I use for my actual gaming. I'd just like one for modding saves/games for fun.

I just need to know: Can I Jtag? If so, can someone send me the TUT for my Dashboard or send me a TUT how to update/downgrade my dashboard so I can?

If its a HDMI system R-Jtag is Best.

If its a NON-HDMI, theres nothing you can do with it besides fix/flash the drive.
