I bricked my jtag the other day and now im trying to fix it. I have a lpt cable soldered in place correctly but it wont read write or erase. If i turn it on then tell it to read from nandpro it goes to the first address then turns the fans and everything off on the jtag except for the green light then that turns off on the second address check and then after all 3 addresses are checked it says could not find flash device. Any help with this would be much appreciated

Your not supposed to turn it on while your connected to PC.

Check all your resistors and soldering again.

the resitors and everything sould be good ill check all the wires with a multimeter. I turned it on only to see if it was actually connecting to it. I cant get it to access it.

Edit: I just relooked at it might be because one of the wires is over by one. Hope thats what it is.

Turning it on while connected will causes problems - How do you find this to be the test of your install?

Check continuity of the J1D2 & J2B1 if problem still persists you'll need to post Pics.

J1D2.1 - 1V
J1D2.2 - 3.3V
J1D2.3 - 1V
J1D2.4 - 0V (40 ohms)

J2B1.5 - 3V
J2B1.6 - 0V(5.6K ohms)

It was messed up from me having to re-soldier beacuse of a mistake with buying the wrong resistors. I will re-soldier the connections tomorrow. two of the wires were moved over by one hole.
