I'm not sure. I read on the Xbox Console ban forums people have been getting banned for redeeming illegitimate codes or something like that so I don't know what that exactly means.

I guess its just the people who really abused it and went mad with it getting console banned.

Scotiabank is totally banning consoles that did the abusive glitch. Happened to both my consoles today.

It's not going on right now, this is from a few months ago I guess they compiled a list of people and are console banning
