It is legitimate I contacted Hollie Bennett from Sony Computer Entertainment Europe and she confirmed this for me. She replied to my tweet.

Having .net at the end of a Sony email does look a bit dodgy, try and tweet her or reply back

I did tweet her and she replied to me she then emailed me to confirm date but there was a massive catch you needed a tick to get into the Eurogamer Expo Area and tickets I won where only fast track wristbands I tried to buy some tickets on eBay but didn't win so I decided not to go.
