You can deffinitly get +60 FPS on it max settings, it might even be able to hand battlefield 3 and 4 on like medium settings.

you can do anything you want on minecraft, and you can play BF3 at ultra not medium, nice build.

I have the same CPU, GPU and a few different other things... and I run Minecraft on max settings with 60+ FPS and BF3 on Ultra settings!

I have the same gpu and cpu. Its a solid build. I run Minecraft at max settings around 70 - 80 FPS. And BF3 Ultra at 110 - 120 FPS

I have a pretty similar build, same gpu, CPU and I get 160-200 on max with a 64x texture pack!

i have dual gtx 660 nvidia cards and second gen i7 (alienware aurora) and i use shaders mod with maxed and fancy all and i get 175 fps
in wow i get 100+ ultra
but i had the same setup before my alienware and one of my friends dads a computer tech said with a graphics card like that and a cpu of amazing power and no water cooling (i have through alienware) you will fry a motherboard or something bad will happen so too much heat and no extreme means of cooling = death :!: :!: :!: :!: :coffee:

So, besides desperately trying to show off your 1337 pr0 alienware (toplel) rig, where was the part where you answered OP's question?

Don't listen to Kosborn. I have a pretty much identical rig in a smaller case and my temps are just fine
Edit* unless you're planning on playing bf4 on 8monitors for 4987 hours at a time then you may have a problem.
