I recently bought a TB PX5 headset and I'm greatly disappointed. After 4 hours of playing around with it, I still cant get it to be on the same level as a 6 year old set of TB X1's, let alone any better.
Iv read tutorials, and even the "pre" presets are rubbish, and when I adjust the settings from my PC I cant get them any better.
I can get a good sound quality but when it comes to hearing footsteps, the other noises are too loud, if I turn the volume down but keep the setting for noises such as footsteps on, it makes what I can only describe as a "sea" noise, as if theres water, or like a whistle. Some sort of background noise.
If anybody has mastered the PX5 settings so I can actually get decent sound base from them, I am willing to pay via Paypal to anybody who can help me.
Thanks, Dan.
PS - add my skype if you can help - danny.hayes93

I have a pair of them for my 360 also (had them for 2-3 years) and I think they're fine, I use preset 8 which is "superhuman hearing" and I can hear everything going on.
I can hear all the little sounds in CoD and people with silenced guns across map.
I don't play CoD any more but they are a dream on battlefield 3 and some other games.
