Is there a way I can steal a police car from a station without me being shot dead or my car being sprayed to pieces?

Because you can't take it into LS Customs
Once you obtain a police car and evade police, just simply switch to another character (while you are still in the police car) and then just switch right back to the last character you were using and the car will be repaired/no damage. Hope this helped.

Call 911 while in the desert them kill the cops once they show up, Also if you park it in your garage & come back like 5 mins later it will get fixed

Call 911 and then just kill the two cops that come in the car steam it don't wreck it and you're good
