I had a thought that maybe I should get a 1440p monitor, but then I looked at prices. Around 450 pounds minimum. Knocked it on the head.
But I look deeper and you can buy them from South Korea (Korean brands) for around 250 or even lower. Has anyone bought one of these? Had any problems?

The X-Star ones use Samsung PLS IPS panels, so yes they are very good for the price, they also offer a DOA warranty. Get one if you can afford 250GBP for a monitor, I would.

Well I didn't have a specific one in mind, there are several no-name brands on eBay at very good prices.

Apparently PLS is slightly worse quality than S-IPS but it's cheaper so good deal. Bookmarked.

It actually looks really good for the price and people have said good things about this particular monitor. Just get a sticker to go over the logo lol
