i am standing in a parking lot with a bunch of other people and been waiting hear for hours... any suggestions to what i should do?

It's happening to almost everyone, even those on Xbox Live (like me). It's Rockstar's game servers. They're's not enough and they are currently working on fixing the problems for users on both consoles. The reason that the disconnecting keeps happening is because there's a massive amount of people all trying to play at the same time right now-- something Rockstar wasn't anticipating. We just have to wait until they upgrade their servers and fix a few bugs.
