The guy on the motorcycle is not dead, around 20-30 surrounded the suv, damaged it and then slashed tires. I would have done the same thing which is get out of there because I fear for my families well being. I have owned a bike for years and those guys were driving like a bunch idiots. The whole incident could have been avoided if the bikes drove the right way instead of menacing people on the highway.

The driver of the SUV was in the wrong. The bikers were on a ride out, one biker attempted to slow down the SUV so that the others could get in front, the driver slows down then accelerates in to the back of the person on the motorbike for no bvious reason. Of course, that will spark a reaction, a normal person would have just said sorry but instead the psycho of a driver decided to run over them (causing one of them to be paralyzed from the waist down).

What's worse? Cosmetic damage or having your life turned upside down by some moron in an SUV?

The whole ''protecting my family'' is utter arrogant BS, bikers are not some vile scumbags, his family wouldn't have got hurt. It's normal for them to attack the driver as he's just about squashed a few of your fellow bikers.

Really? He needed to stop for them to get around him?
2 Lanes open on either side of him and let's not forget the fact that they're motorbikes, not trucks.
How can you say the whole 'protecting my family' is arrogant when according to you, all traffic should just grind to a halt when bikers are around?
Also, they started to attack the SUV before he 'squashed' them.
Have you actually watched the video? They are clearly at a standstill for about 10 seconds before the SUV ploughs through them.
The SUV didn't 'Slow, then accelerate into the back of him for no obvious reason.'

Did I say all traffic should grind to a halt? No? Thought not, so stop putting words in to my mouth.

Attack the SUV? Are you blind? All they did was stop, because the SUV just rammed the biker for no reason, if you actually watch the video you'll see the SUV slow down (almost to a stand still) and STILL manages to bump in to the back of the motorbike.

If you was on the bike and someone rammed you, you'd just carry on as per would you? No, you'd be angry at the idiotic driver.

SUV driver had no reason to drive over them all, that's why they chased him, because he acted in a completely psychopathic way.

Should put a shotgun up to the SUV owners head and pull the trigger with no further due.

Let me put this into perspective, so you can understand.

1. The SUV was being menaced by 25+ bikers before the first small collision occurred.
2. They surrounded him as if they were going to do something to harm him and his family.
3. There was no need for 25+ bikers to drive recklessly on the highway, especially to a vehicle with a family inside.
4. The motorcyclist tried to block the SUV, he is the idiot, no SUV is going to stop for a puny bike and a crazed biker.
5. As you see when the SUV is stopped in the video, the biker moves toward the SUV, as if he were going to do something.
6. They had no right to do this to anyone.

Now please, don't take the bikers side, we all know who is at fault here.

Yeah, it's Obama's fault. :p

Nah, but seriously.. This whole thing is just crazy. I'm not taking sides, just the fact that both parties acting crazy is pretty stupid.

Watch from 1:13 to 1:20

My bad, he's obviously just going very slow and is somehow staying the same distance from the Camera and doesn't appear to move relative to the other bikes.
Later on in the video, the tires on the SUV look very deflated, it's obvious that they slashed his tyres.

Admit it, one group of bikers did something bad and they paid the price for it.

Also, you said that they were trying to stop the SUV to let other bikes past.
That is kind of implying that you think bikes have right of way over everything.
I don't slow down on the motorway in front of a car to let my friend past.

I can see why someone's initial reaction is against the SUV, but he was in no way at fault. He was intimidated by the bikers, het tried to get out of there to safety, he was chased down, and beat up in front of wife and kid. Even the wife stated that he feared for their lives. I don't care where these people came from. No need to all be in a huge pack and not following rules of the road (or following common sense even.)

I've watched from the times you said, all I seen is one motorcycle slowly down with his head turned towards his friends, the SUV (with plenty of time to react) still manages to plow in to him, the bit in that video where they've all stopped, is because the biker who's just been stupidly plowed in to is mad and is obviously letting the SUV driver know how mad he is (like anyone would when they've just been plowed in to).

So, again, nothing out of the ordinary there, SUV driver could have just said sorry like any normal human being would do, but no, he drives over and paralyses one of them.

You're attempting to defend someone who couldn't stop his SUV (in a normal amount of time), and has paralyzed a human being for no reason at all. Please, justify that, go on.

Moby wrote Moral of the story is, if you're on a bike, don't try and take on an SUV.
Also, why do they need to ride in massive gangs like that?
Its a safety thing, when riding in groups, most of the time you will be riding really close together just incase anything happens.
