My mate just got fifa 14 last week and he has already spent 250 on it,he has a good team fair enough but how does that even help in real life, that money could have been spent on things they need,i think that's a ridicules amount of money to spend in such a short time, what do you guys think?

If the kid is spending $250 on FIFA, I think it's safe to assume they don't need the money.

Honestly, it shouldn't matter.
Let them bring themselves debt.
Don't worry about them.

Well, its his money so he chooses what to do with it.

But, if I had $250 to spend I'd definitely not spend it on FIFA.

I would have to agree with the group its his money so he can spend it how he wants it really doesn't effect anyone else. with that being said iI can think of a lot of things I would rather spend the. 250 on other than Fifa

This is my opinion so don't judge me. Why spend all that money on a game when you can use that money to buy things that you actually need. Sure wants are always nice but what if one day you need that extra money for something that actually matters but you spent it on a video game. Not only that but EA releases a new fifa every year so it's pointless.

What does it matter? It's his money he can spend it how he wants.
It's something he enjoys, so why criticize him?

I see what you mean, in my opinion there's no need to spend money on in-game transactions, to an extent. But I guess if they want to waste their money, they can do so.
