Hi, I always see people deciding which Next-Gen Console to get, I will try to help you.
Firstly, choose the console most/all of your friends will have, because it won't be fun playing without your friends.

Xbox One Features:

Pros- Excellent Xbox Live system gaming experience from the smart matchmaking, marketplace, cloud service, game servers, controller has cool rumble features when playing different games, Kinect camera, features include automatic sign in feature, voice commands improved from turning off and on your console,to dashboard,gaming,movies,music,etc, works in the dark, better response to movement when playing Kinect games, also Xbox One game development.

Cons- Xbox Live has a paywall meaning in order to use apps such as Internet, or Netflix, you will need be a subscriber to Xbox Live, Xbox One's price, and Xbox Live Gold membership gives crappy games compared PS plus.

PS4 Features:

Pros- Better hardware and graphics compared to Xbox One, PS4 price is $399 leaving you with some extra room to get a game and/or extra controller, PS4 has no paywall to use the internet,apps such as Netflix and Youtube,etc, PS4 free-to-play games include Blacklight, Drive Club, and many more, controller has a touchscreen pad,also enhanced triggers,and thumbsticks, built-in speakers for games which have sounds when doing actions, able to play PS4 games on PS Vita if you have the handheld of course.

Cons- Crappy PS online gaming experience, but hopefully since PS is now charging for online gaming service, the whole PS gaming and service experience will change, PS eye is crappy compared to the function of Xbox One's Kinect 2.0, so I do not really see them improving the eye towards gaming wise, exception to voice commands later in the future.
